Kustom Ballistics, incorporated in 1978, was founded by Neil Keller. Neil, who began gunsmithing for himself and for friends years before, has worn many hats in his professional career. Educated as a tool maker and a mechanical engineer he worked for General Electric for over 33 years. Neil cut his teeth in the competitive arena in KART and motor cycle racing.

In addition to his years of experience, Neil is also a member of the American Pistolsmiths Guild, serving as Secretary and President, and the American Handgunner Club 100. In 2003, Neil was awarded Pistolsmith of the Year. A very prestigious award, coming from the membership of the American Pistolsmith Guild.
